So this week, we have started replacing some of her formula with whole milk. I am still really confused about this process. She is starving when she wakes up, so I give her a small bottle of half formula/half milk, feed her breakfast (oatmeal and peaches), and she's starving like two hours later. How am I ever supposed to get her off bottles and formula if she is still eating that often. Do I still feed her milk that often, just like with formula? More food? She seems full after breakfast.

I began adding more foods. She just went through a phase last week where she was starving all the time but it stopped. Must have been a growth spurt. She seriously eats just as much as my 4 yr old. They should only get about 16oz milk a day so maybe increase her food?

Shannon, I know you do this all the time per request LOL but can you once again go through an example of what and when Kaileigh eats/drinks throughout the day? I want to know what its like post-formula for a baby this age. Thanks!!

Mmmmm....I would actually try a "regular" bottle when she wakes up (you said you guys do a "small" bottle??). I bet she would still eat the same about at breakfast but have a bit more of a base layer built in.

Emmett is starving when he wakes up, so we pack his little belly in the morning.

Kaileigh wakes about 8-8:30. Give or take. Eats breakfast as soon as she gets up. She gets a cup (approx 4oz) milk

Then around 10ish she has a snack which is graham crackers, animal crackers, cheerios, yogurt, gold fish, ect...you get what I mean. I also give her a cup of water with that. She only drinks a few sips.

Then after snack is nap time until noon, then at noon'ish is lunch. What ever we eat, she eats. If she CANT eat it, I make her mac n cheese or something she can eat. She gets a 4oz cup of milk and sh drinks it all usually.

Then about 4:30 she gets a big cup of milk (randomly will be a bottle if she's in a bad mood).

Then we eat dinner between 5-6 depends on when I get to start it.

She will eat dinner with us but has her cup of water.

Then about 8 she gets a small snack same as my oldest (she calls it her night-night snack lol)

Then bed time at 9pm, rinse and repeat

BTW- Her big big is a 7oz cup and she drinks on that water all day. Usually its just on the floor and she drinks it when ever she wants. Im pretty please with how well she likes water. Also about the random bottle, it's pretty much my fault because I give it to her because sometimes after her nap she fights diaper time and it makes it easier to just give her one. Thats my BAD MOMMY confession
