Who all have babies that love being in the pool?

I was surprised at how Boogie took to the water. A friend of mine has gone up north to their summer berth in Maine and has encouraged me to peek in on the house and to come swim whenever I want and yesterday we decided it was a good day to swim again. Boogie's been in the pool three or four times now and LOVES it. He's got a neat spring float with a canopy that we call the "Boogie-boat" and is content to float around and play wiht the water toys we set on the middle mesh. But I can also take him out and hold him and he will splash and put his face in the water and not once has gotten stiff or tense or upset about being in the water, even with minimal support. I can't believe how relaxed he is and am doing everything to make sure that the pool is always a fun experience. I love my little fish!!!

That's so awesome!!! And "Boogie Boat" is too cute, lol!!!! I haven't seen any baby floaties that include a mesh toy holder as you described...where'd you get it? It sounds nice!

Omair loves water, too. After all, he was born in the water!!

The 3 times we had Rosie in the pool it was a 50/50 shot on if she liked it or not..lol But I think because of the temp and the one time she got splashed and after that she was done. We plan on buying a small wadding pool for her to play in.

aww soo cute the boogie boat !

Melanie loves water too we bought her a little pool from walmart with a shade (because of her skin issues)
and the times we have put her outside she has really enjoyed it and for once has not started crying or trying to crawl away

I take Miranda for swim lessons and she loves the water. She happily splashes away and doesn't mind being dunked under. The only thing she hates is floating on her back. What she doesn't like is when DH uses the sprinkler and he sprays her with it. She has a bit of a freak attack then.

Baby Spring Float Sun Canopy - SwimWays

We've got one of those. it has a detachable sun canopy. Found it at walmart for like $20 but I've seen 'em at Target too. I love how stable it is in the water and the mesh seat is like a bucket seat instead of an arrangement that basically dangles them by their crotch. I felt a little silly spending $20 on a pool floatie when I can get others for $3, but it really is nice and was worth the extra money to me.
