A new playpen for melanie freedom for me! (pics)

We went out today to look for melanie's baptism dress
on the way there we stopped by Miami subs to have lunch melanie ended up stealing her grandmas french fries and she has now learned that if she takes out the straw from my cup she can suck on it and get a taste of mommy's drink lol

Anyways we went to IDEAL BABY to look for the dress and we ended up leaving with

A new walker for melanie since hers was used and beat up and she did not enjoy being in it at all!
and
a new playard !melanie already has one that we had gotten as a baby shower gift but I mean she sat in this playard and she did not want to get out of it. we were at the store for almost 30 minutes trying to tear her away from it and deciding if we should buy it or not.

Now if it means she will stay still and let mommy sew or eat for a bit than it was prob the best thing we ever bought.

She is currently in it right now walking all over the place! I AM SUPER IN LOVE WITH IT! MY HANDS ARE FREE FOR ONCE!!

That walker is so cute!
I'll have to remember to get my playpen and put it outside in the yard. But Miranda hates not having the freedom of crawling around everywhere, so not sure if this would work for us.

Glad that your hands are finally free! Feels awesome, doesn't it.

play yard seems to have a lot of room - more so than a pack n play
my mom keeps telling me she wishes they still made actual play pens like i had when i was a kid

It actually does have a lot more room for her to walk around yet it does not take up as much space and it's way sturdier than the pack and play in my opinion ( THE METAL BAR IN MINE ALREADY BROKE AFTER LESS THAN 5 USES!) . I think she prefers it too because of the colors inside and the cartoons.

I think I should have put this one in my baby shower list instead

Wow, she can drink from a straw!! I haven't even tried that yet.

Having a free minute is so hard to find these days, glad u were able to find something to keep her busy for now

Those are too cute as is Melanie

We have a superyard that we bought when our oldest was this age. I love that thing. He can move around, have his freedom but still be contained enough to stay safe.
