I am already looking for melanie's christening gown since we have to get her picture taken in order to do the favors we are going to give the guests and It all takes about a month or so.
Finding a dress is super hard tho
Melanie is allergic to polyester and everything I have found is made with polyester! I don't want a gown that is too expensive either.....any ideas ladies??

"Too expensive" is different for everyone, so I don't know for sure what that means. I got Claire's dress from onesmallchild.com, and they have this satin dress for $55.

Ashley Satin Christening Gown

I hope you find something that will work for your budget and for your little sweetie!

oh wow that one is nice! Um I don't want to spend over $80
Some of the ones I saw at Ideal baby in miami were 100 and up and they were not even cute! I might try going to sears and macy's this weekend see if I can find anything there

I saw some dresses at JcPenneys I can't quite recall the price. I brought McKenzie's gown from Ebay it was 30.00 and beautiful!

Take a look on eBay or Craiglist. People are selling Christening gowns all the time for a fraction of the cost. Miranda had a gown made of raw silk. It was $75, so not too bad. Check consignment stores also, like Once Upon a Child. That's where I got our dress.
