Hello ladies,

I have yet to have a postpartum cycle yet but I think I may have had an implantation bleed Sunday night. We are no trying to get pregnant but did DTD (unprotected)about 10 days prior to the spotting. the bleed seemed pretty typical of implantation and has stopped although I have only experianced it with 2 of my 8 pregnancies. My question is.... how soon do you think I can take a test after implantation, since I have not started yet i'm not sure when I would have been due and I thought i have heard you have an increased chance of twins if you get pregnant on your first cycle postpartum, have any of you heard this or have a story? I am so nervous......and yet kinda excited

I think the earliest anything would show up on an ept would be 4-6 days after implantation, or 10dpo. Implantation can occur as early as 6dpo for some women it's much later though. Remember that hcg usually doubles ever 24hours and nowadays the ept can pick up hcg as low as 8 in your urine (that's my experience anyway). Good luck!!!!

It could also just be your body trying to figure things out and adjusting its hormones. I had weird spotting/bleeding before my first actual PP AF, and I think that is pretty common.

I think it could very well just be your body gearing up for AF, my first PP AF was what I would call spotting, and it really only lasted a day (if i remember correctly) but if it was Implantation bleeding I got a light BFP at 8 or 9 DPO

I would take a test if I were you... but I have no self-control when it comes to testing early.

I am a POAS addict...so I would take a test just to see and another one in a few days. It could either be the implantation bleeding, or it could be your body adjusting its hormones and getting ready for AF.

Ok.... So it could be my eyes going crossed but......I think I might see a very very faint pink line. It has only been two and a half days since implantation bleed, so it's very early. I will wait til tomorrow evening or Friday morning to try again

Does anyone have any info on the question about first PP cycle and twins?

Wow!! I don't know anything about the twin thing, but congrats if you are preggo!
