So Arie never had a baby room but she is getting a toddler's room...whether or not she'll sleep in there is another story! I keep going back and forth about what to do about her bed...I really doubt she'll sleep in her crib. So I"m thinking of just doing a mattress on the floor, maybe a full-sized? I go back and forth between the twin and full... Her crib converts to a toddler bed but we have to buy a $60 rail to do that and I don't know if it'll be worth it when she is used to sleeping on a mattress on the floor anyway. Eventually I would want to raise it up until its a normal sized bed but not until she is older.
But then the big problem is she might be all over her room instead of staying put in the bed. I guess we'll see what happens. I was thinking I wouldn't try until she was a bit older, like 18 months, but now I'm thinking I can sleep with her in her room while hubby sleeps in our room, since he wakes the both of us up anyway when he gets ready in the morning. I guess that's another reason I was thinking a full bed, so there is room for me too.

But if she starts sleeping well then I will just pop out and see how she does. Again, I don't have a time frame for this, just at some point in the upcoming year.
So this is kinda weird, but I was wondering if any of you have any ideas/suggestions for a toddler's room? I'm guessing its just the same thing as any kids room, furniture and stuff, but I don't know if I should just minimize the sheer amount of accessible things in her room because she won't be in a crib.
