........yours truely!
My dd who is 7 and has a hard time steering while riding her bike, fell down the dike on her bike last night. She still uses training wheels because she has always been afraid to ride her bike and just now wanted to learn. So the dike is a paved path that runs a long the river with like a 15 ft embankment. We were walking she was right next to her, the next thing I know she is going down the dike on her bike because she lost control of the bike and headed straight down the hill. At the end she flipped over the handle bars and landed on her back. Scared the living daylights out of me...this is what her helmet looked like...thankfully she was wearing one.

She ended up with a fat lip, a bruised thigh and a sore neck. I could have been worse I know but it still bothers me I wasnt paying closer attention. This lessons just confirms why she will never ride without a helmet.
