OMG that is so funny! She's described my nights, except for the nursing baby in bed. And I have a 12 year old, 8 year old and 3 1/2 year old waking me up with random crap and then the cat at 6am constantly meowing and scratching for food. And all this time DH falls asleep withing seconds of lying down and stays asleep through it all. LMAO! And I can totally relate to a small child in bed moving around like crazy and being kicked in the head on those occasions when I do let them come into bed with me. They always end up on my side taking up my space and covers.
Thanks for sharing!!

That post was so friggin true for me! The ONLY differences were the to bed at 9 and arise at 7 thing. We stay up later and wake up later. Also, the dogs wake me, not the cat. My kids even refer to DH as "Papa" which I thought was pretty rare now-a-days unless you're Hispanic (or other countries who say that which I can't think of any now) or from the old days.

Anyways back to the point: That was comforting to read, thanks for sharing!

that happens to me every night! I can totally relate to laying there awake, feeding the baby, cold, not moving or breathing in fear of waking the baby. I hardly get any sleep and my husband can just sleep all night. ugh.

It's nice to know I am not the only one-- except you would have to add the baby waking every 2 hours. My husband told me the other day that I should try and nap when the girls nap- I almost strangled him. It takes me at least 45 minutes to fall asleep and every time I try to nap when they are napping Kinley wakes up just as I am falling to sleep. It is crazy-making.

LOL. Great link. She has 2 other stories on there as well (illustrated). They are funny, too. DH and I got some laughs out of it. Made us feel like we are not the only ones.
