It makes me so sick to my stomach that just an ordinary fall can cause so much damage. I couldnt stop thinking about her last night.

This was posted on the cloth diapering board too. I'm thinking something may have fallen ON her....like a tv or something. So sad. I can't even begin to imagine.

No she updated on how it happened in the link I gave. It's update number 3 I think. The dad was playing with her on the floor and she pulled up and then slipped and fell backwards on the floor. She said it was a carpeted/padded floor but it was because she hit her head first not her bottom which could have supported her fall more.
It was one of those scary freak accidents. I feel so bad for them.

?? That's really crazy. I've seen that happen before while working in the nursery many times. I can't believe it caused that much trauma!

OMG this is heartbreaking! Do they know if there was a pre-existing condition of some sort? Sophie has fallen backwards before from just being a clumsy, walking baby. I can't even imagine.

I also wondered if there was an unknown pre-existing condition?

I can't even imagine what her family is going through. I would be crazy with grief so I can only imagine. So so sad =( Makes me want to go hug ALL of my babies and hold them tight!
