I haven't posted in here since February of LAST YEAR. Life seemed to pull a rug out from under me and I had a lot of changes in my life, and thus I became inactive on here. You probably do not remember so... I am Redelle, but please call me Red. My LO was due on August 8, I delivered on July 26, a baby girl, called Dawn Marie. She was 9lbs even... I know, I know!! I dread to think what she would of weighed had I gone to my EDD. I probably should have gone to the July PR, but as I was in this DDC early on I felt a connection to this one. I hope you don't mind!

Dawnie is a wonderfuly baby! She has such a fiery attitude and is the loudest baby I have ever known! I certainly am going to have a trouble maker on my hands, lol. She is walking around on furniture and I don't think it will be too long until she starts walking. (No surprise, I started walking by 11 months!!) She has been whinging and drooling a lot lately, plus her cheeks are bright red, poor thing must be teething! She doesn't let go of her sophie giraffe! We have had a lot of problems with ear infections, she has has had several double ear infections and I am taking her to the drs tomorrow as she has been holding her ear non stop. Crossing my fingers it isn't another one. I managed to make it to 6 months BFing, it was a struggle, I had hoped to make it to 12 months. Hopefully next time.

I am also in a committed relationship with someone I met during my pregnancy.. Pat. Pat and I are going to TTC # 2 after Dawn's first birthday. Due to circumstances, Pat had to bank sperm late last year so we could TTC.

I became a SAHM earlier this year, but I am undergoing a short course to qualify me to work in childcare. I am doing 1 days experience at a local daycare at the moment and I am loving it. I can not wait to get certified!

That is my update and Hello. Sorry if I have lulled you into a sleep! Very excited to hear how you all are. I wish I had been around much earlier!

Welcome back to the playroom! Of course we don't mind you posting here, we have lots of mama's who were due in August and delivered in July.

I am Kristy, one the co-host of the playroom. My Lo is Tommy, he was born 8/17 and I have a dd named Lily she is 7.

Poor Dawn with her ear aches, that really stinks. I know some of the other moms on this board were having issues with ear aches as well, so maybe they can be of some support to you!

I'm Marisa, your other co-host My Aug baby is Bishop. He was due the 22nd but decided to hang in until Sept 1st. I also have Gage who is 5 1/2 and Dane who is 2 1/2.

My august baby, Holden, was born early also. July 28th. He's had a few ear problems too. We're on our 4th ear infection right now and it seems like he's starting to get another cold (runny eyes and nose ) so I'm praying it doesnt turn into an ear infection.
