She is walking more and more. That i think in two weeks she will be walking just as much as she crawls.

I second the walking! Lyla is getting brave and taking more and more steps. Sometimes she is in such a hurry, that she face plants!

Her latest "trick" is showing people her tongue! If you ask her "Where's your tongue?" she will stick it out and then laugh! Cracks me up everytime!

Oh god yes Rosie has face planted a few times. It was like she was trying to run..lol And the climbing. She has a rocker that she pulls to where she wants so she can get to things on the table or book case.

Claire's vocabulary is expanding so fast. She is starting to repeat things when I say them, and can bark and meow. I love it!

Today When I got out of the car and went to get melanie out I noticed that she had managed to take off her sock and had it in her mouth just hanging there it was too funny.

Is anybody else grossed out when your kid chews on their shoe? Now that Lyla is actually using her shoes for walking it bothers me!!! Sorry, this is OT, but the PP made me think about it!!

She puts herself down for naps. lol. DS's bunkbed has a trundle for the lower bunk so it's safe for her being right on the floor. Anyways, she goes in there and lays herself down on his mattress and goes to sleep. She tries to make things easy on me.

Oh she also tries to "help" me now. She brings me things she thinks I need. And has this expression like "here, you need this, right?".

I can tell she is going to me my right-hand girl/ mini-me always right there to help mommy

I got him to say "thank you" today...several times and very clearly. Although, for the life of me I can't get him to even say mama.

yes, Rosie isn't into wearing shoes( I for the life of me can't get them on her unless sandals) but our shoes its another story. I am always removing them from her. Because she instantly puts them in her mouth. and she has this fascination with DH's work books. So double eww.

hes been babbling mama for a few months now but only when hes upset
hes started saying dada but its real quiet and cute, like he does it when hes playing on his own
have to laugh at this since my dh is the loud one and im more quiet
he is also absolutely ENTHRALLED with animals - took him to a store front set up by the SPCA filled with cats and he was laughing his head off at every single on of them, made me smile

I can't go anywhere without people stopping to tell me how adorable he is! It's like he is a mini-celebrity. I was out running errands for maybe 2.5 hours today and at least 5 people stopped me to gush about his eyes or chubby cheeks.
