Ok so I posted on another forum but am not receiving any responses. PLEASE don't write anything regarding this on my facebook.

I am on BC and have been taking it religiously. Last month I was on 10 days of amoxicyllen, but the 1st week of June I had my period like normal, everything was fine. I started my pills back.

I took my last active pill last Thursday, and aside from one streak of spotting (pink) on Sunday, I have not had a period. I really don't feel pregnant at all, but I've taken 2 pregnancy tests (one day before yesterday and one last night) and both say negative.

So why in the world would I not have a period?
Could I still be pregnant just not far enough along to have symptoms and a positive test? This is really bothering me. I've not ever NOT had my period, unless I was pregnant. But I don't FEEL pregnant.

starting the bcp can affect you getting your first period. In fact, I don't take hormonal birth control for a few reasons...one of which is that the time I did take it, I missed my first period after taking it. No other reason than there was too much of the hormone in my body that it prevented my period.

So it's a normal thing. However, if you are concerned about it, by all means you should check with your dr.

I have never used BC in my life, so I am no help. But I do know that antibiodics can make BC pills ineffective. You got your AF last month so I would think you are not pg, but what do I know? Just wait a few days I guess and retest if you never start.

I would wait a few days and re-test. I doubt you are pregnant if you had af last month but yes, antibiotics can make bc non-effective so re-test in a few days and if negative just wait until af should be there the next month.

Bc of any kind can really mess you up. I was on the pill in high school and when i stopped taking it, it took a few months before i got my period. Then after i had Samantha, i had 1 shot of depo and didnt have my period for 7 months. Bc really messes my body up. I would wait until next week, retest and if it is negative, it is probably just the bc messing with your cycle.

If your period was the first week of June, isn't it still too early to be expecting it? Based on a 28 day cycle, if you started June 1st, you still shouldn't start until at least tomorrow, right?

Ok this is what happened, I went on vacation in the beginning of June, so I started taking my birth control that Thursday (June 2nd) instead of that Saturday (June 4th). My last pill was on Thursday evening of last week. I start my new pack on Thursday evening. No period, but maybe its because I overlapped the two months? I've done it before and still had a period, but who knows!
