Having a TON of anxiety. Please pray that there's a healthy baby in there with a heartbeat and that the spotting has a non-threatening source.. Sigh.
Update: Well, not great news. They saw a sac measuring a week behind and a yolk sac measuring about 6 weeks but no embryo. The doctor (after talking to her an hour or two later) thinks she may have seen a fetal pole and to wait and see what Tuesday brings. She says she doesn't want me to freak out yet. I am not feeling terribly confident but now I just spent so much time reading stories about babies that were behind that grew normally after a week of catching up so I dunno, I am trying to just let it be in the hands that control it. It's really difficult and disconcerning. I don't want this to be loss #5. My next scan is Tuesday, July 5th. A bit of a bittersweet day because my first miscarriage was July 6th (my DH's birthday!) and I just don't want to repeat it... Sigh.
What a cruel trick, being so pregnant feeling and throwing up and sick. I hate this ****.
Update follow up U/S: No growth, changes, or heartbeat. Loss #5 for me. No cramping or bleeding and I've decided to wait and let that happen without a D&C if at all possible.

good luck today. I had some spotting with my last pregnancy, they did an u/s and it was a subchorionic hematoma, and it cleared up on its own.
keeping my fingers crossed for you, keep us posted.

I really hope your baby is ok and that they just couldn't see the baby b/c it was too early. My thoughts and prayer are with you and your baby.

Praying that everything is o.k. for your next scan ... i had an early scan and they thought it was a blighted ovum (sac without egg) and then next sono there was infact a bean... hoping the same for you
