I finally gave in and bought Caleb an amber necklace. He wore it for 4 hours today and was the happiest baby ever..no screaming, fussing or anything. I have been reading that some people wrap them on baby's ankle at night. Those of you who have amber necklaces, do your babies wear them on their ankles at night?

Sophie must have inherited my cankles because I can't figure out how to do it, lol
I have accidentally forgotten to take them off a few times during naps, but if you figure out what length I need to wrap them around the ankles let me know.
....which has me wondering if you could special order an anklet??? lol

I have seen her say, "no special orders" LOL I haven't tried to wrap it around Caleb's ankle yet so we will see...might not even be a question if it's too small.
BTW, I want one for me now.

Kaileigh's ankels are so tiny even wrapping it, it still slides off so we just leave it on. Im not worried, plus it's knotted individually so IF it would happen to break only 1 stone will come off.

No they are not for chewing. THe amber releases succinate and other healing oils that help sooth the gums.
OK, so I woke Caleb up (DH isn't happy LOL) but the necklace wraps around his ankle twice and fits perfectly. Still not going to leave it on him at night though..

I've been putting his around his ankle at night ever since we got it. It fits really well wrapped around twice. It's only slipped off a couple of times. I have left it around his neck for the occasional nap and it's been fine but I almost always put it around the ankle.
I thought on the website in the youth jewelry section they did have some anklets for sale, though.

How is he doing with it now? Does he mess with it at all?
I know I've said this before but I absolutely love Kaileigh's. Im so glad I decided to get one.

Ty and TJ wear it on their ankle 24/7. I got tired of moving it from neck to ankle etc. on 2 boys for 2 naps and then nighttime sleep. They don't even notice it is there. We have the 2nd to the smallest one. Not sure the exact size, but it is the one that is an addl charge of $2. We haven't had any major teething issues since getting it. I say if you think you have a restless child due to teething buy it and see how it goes. It is soooooo worth the $20 or however much it was. Can't even remember now. But I would have paid $200.
