My name is Desirae. I'm 30. My husband Brian is 35 and we've been married for 7+ years. After 5 years of TTC with 2 miscarriages, we were finally blessed with our little miracle when Owen Robert was born on July 15, 2010. He is a happy little guy. I wish he slept better, but he makes up for it in personality & love! He's got 8 teeth, is crawling all over the place, pulling up against furniture, and getting into everything he can! He loves our dogs, Hannah & Bo, and they love him, especially when he drops food from his high chair. LOL He "talks" up a storm all day long, but still won't say mama. He does give great hugs & slobbery kisses, though.
I'm a SAHM, formerly a Human Resources rep. DH is a mechanic. We live in south Louisiana.
Anything else you'd like to know? Feel free to ask!

My DD, Juliana, doesn't sleep well either. She teased me by sleeping decently for a week or two around 10 months and now she's back to waking up every 2 hours. She also loves to throw food to our golden retriever.

Yay, another Southerner
I am 26 years old, my husband and I have been married for 2 years and we have a sweet baby girl named Sophie who just turned 1 on July 1st!
(I am from Southeast Texas, although I have lived in Central Oregon for about 2 years now! HUGE difference, but I do love it) Welcome!!!

I'm Michele and Vincent is my only baby and will be one on July 12. Owen and Vincent sound like they have a lot in common - super happy baby, not the greatest sleeper, talks all the time but won't say any words, loves to feed the dog, etc.
