Kaileigh has had her pillow pet in there for quite a few months already. She moves around a lot so it's not even used for her head she just cuddles with it.
ummm, my first didnt have hair until 2, so to even have enough hair to blow dry it was at age 3... ha ha and yes Im serious she was bald for a long time, and so far Kaileigh is still bald at age 1. I dont blow dry my hair so she's only had it done once or twice.

Her hair is only thick in the back but it still dries pretty quickly.

London's had a pillow for awhile now.
She has alot of hair, but I don't blow dry it due to the risk of heat damage. I normally just section it off and let it air dry.

Blow drying?? I'm not a BTDT mom but I hardly ever blow dry my own hair.
I saw Kaileigh's hair in her birthday pics!! She has some blond hair, doesn't she??? Or am I imagining things?

It's just blonde peach fuzz lol... I should get out some pics of my oldest when she was bald too. They look identical.

With all my kids I didn't give them a pillow until they went to a big bed. Hairdryer I rarely use one myself and I have really thick hair I think my mom and mil have used it on them a couple of times and they are 3 and 5

The twins didnt have a pillow until they were 5 years old. Julia has always co-slept so she has always had a pillow with us but didnt start using it until she was 1 y/o or so. Ty co-sleeps but I use a little pillow and he does not use it.
The twins I started blow drying there hair around 1 y/o? They had more hair that Julia or Ty had as babies. I never have blown Julias dry. No reason, we just let it air dry.

I think I am about to start blow drying Sophie's hair on the cool setting. She has so much hair and I refuse to cut bangs, so we're trying to grow it out. Sometimes it's a little damp when she goes to bed (since we give her a bath as part of her nighttime routine) so if she sleeps on it weird it's crazy the next day!

My girls got pillows around 8 mos i think.....
We dont own a blow dryer, both myself and Samantha have naturally curly hair so blow dryers are a no-no.

Interesting. Thanks for all the answers.
I tried putting a pillow in with her the other night, and we didn't have a good night. I suspect it wasn't because of the pillow, but coincidentally when I took it out, the nights got better. So I guess I'll wait until she moves into a big girl toddler bed to reintroduce it.
The reason I asked about the blow dryer is that she hates it when I towel dry her hair. I never get it 100% dry any more, but close. I would put money on the fact that if I pulled out the blow dryer, she'd have a coronary. I never dry my own hair either unless we're going out somewhere special and I have to go through the rucus of looking nice. LOL

I don't ever blow dry my own hair, much less my kids (not even my daughters). I have done my daughter's maybe 2 or 3 times. But I don't want to damage it.
As for a pillow, not until they are in a toddler bed.

Pillow - toddler bed
Blow drying ... I usually only do it in the winter and I started right before her 1st birthday, on the cool setting.
