I have been going back and forth on what to get Caleb for his birthday so I decided to let my 3 year old pick out his gift. I must say she did a really good job. She saw a baby on the box walking with the toy and said, "Caleb can learn how to walk". Vtech Sit-to-Stand Alphabet Train

I was also able to get a really good deal at my local consignment store today. I have two double strollers... Bumbleride indie twin and a Combi Twin sport. I LOVE the Bumble ride...hate the Combi. But since we use the Combi for travel I didn't want to give it up. Well today I saw a brand new Joovy Caboose at my local consignment store (at least it looks brand new). I worked out a deal with the woman who owns the store and she is letting me trade my used Combi for the Joovy. She will probably be able to make a few more $ off the Combi but I think it's a cool trade. Made my day!

Oh I love his new train toy! Ty would totally have a ball with that His favorite toy is his Cars Ride on Toy that he also pushes everywhere. It works great for his learning to walk.

I am not sure what we are getting Ty for his birthday. I havent even looked yet.

Super cool on your stroller deal! Pics?

Here is the one I traded in:

This is the one I got:

The way my consignment store works, you bring your items in to the store and they call you about 4 days later with the amount they will give you. You can either choose store credit (you get 20% more) or you can get cash. Thenn you just go pick up your money or go shop. My buy is still in progress.... I took in the Combi stroller, 3 bins of fall clothes, and a bin of toys ... so they are holding the stroller at the store until my buy is complete. I should get it by Wednesday. I'm excited because I've been wanting a sit-and-stand but I don't like the Baby Trend and, after spending close to $700 on my Bumbleride, I couldn't justify buying another stroller. Now I'll have a narrow stroller for travel and small stores and my Bumbleride for all day trips, the outlets, and parks. AND the Combi is gone and out of sight.

I have a single Combi & hate it. It doesn't steer very well & it is really only good for indoors (like the mall). The wheels get all spun around even on a sidewalk. I really, really want a sit & stand too, but like you, haven't been able to justify spending the $ on it. Maybe I'll have to look harder for a consignment shop around here. I was planning on selling all of my baby stuff at the community yard sale in Sept.
