That's so beautiful. I remember his time last year so well. I was in transition - less than 5 hours from meeting my little guy! I have been reliving the whole labor in my head all day and he will actually turn 1 at 3 AM when we will both be asleep (hopefully).

I love reading about your experience finding out the gender at birth. I definitely want to do that next time. I think I'm so emotional now because I know next time won't be for a long time so I'm holding onto everything I can from Vincent's birth while I still remember it all.

Anyway...what a beautiful post! And such a beautiful girl! Happy Birthday Makenna!!
