Tommys big fat lip

I tried to take a picture of and this is the best I can get. It happened at daycare and it is busted on the inside. I can't belived they didn't call me AGAIN!! He had some sort of allergic reaction last week and was wheezing and covered in a rash. When I came to get him they said i think he is breaking out...."I was like....ya think"?? Anyway I called the next morning to find out what he ate or what he came in contact with and asked that they call me with ANY issues with him, please do not wait until the end of the day, that was Friday. I pick him up today with a busted lip. I am so happy I will not have to deal with daycare in less than 3 weeks...

awwww...poor baby!!!! I can't believe they didn't call you to report that he got hurt. My daycare always called with any type of injury or incident. Glad that you can stay home with him soon.

Heads would fly at daycare if they didn't call me about either or those. Poor Tommy! I'm so glad you get to stay home with the kids soon.

Poor Baby, and Poor Mommy. That is unacceptable that they didn't call you either time. I am just at a loss for words.

Wow, I think you need to file a complaint against that daycare. Both of those things require immediate notification of the parents in my opinion.

i cant stand when injuries like this happen and parents are not notified. Needless to say at some of the daycares i worked at we wrote up the injury and the director did not inform mom or dad. About the food allergy why is there not a daily report written out of what Tommy ate? So annoying.

what??? they did not call AGAIN? I would definitely file a complaint! poor Tommy! hope it heals soon, and my goodness I am so happy for you that you only have 3 weeks left before you can stay home

Thanks for your support ladies, It is just so frustrating. I know things happen, I understand that. All I want is a call when something happens to my baby...is that too much to ask??? Geez...

I've asked the old supervisor in the room and spoke to the new one last Friday when the allergy arose to call, I can't believe they still didn't call me!!! I don't know how to get my point across more clear.

aww hop hes feeling better. i would most definitely be filing a complaint. be sure to have the fill out an accident report on it to.

Sounds like you need to go a little higher up than a supervisor. Like talk to the director or something. That is just unacceptable!

And um yeah I would be ticked off for them not calling on either one of those. I am fairly laid back on a lot of things but the break out one would really set me over because that is serious.

Fat lip I might not be as upset but still annoyed. Combine the two and yeah we would have major problems.
