I've been MIA for a few days. Had to make a trip to the ER early Sunday morning because I had another kidney stone attack. The last one was in 2007. Worst pain ever. Worse than labor, I think. At least contractions give you a break in the pain...kidney stone pain is constant!

Luckily, my parents were able to keep Owen while I dealt with that. They had him all day/night Sunday and most of Monday so that I could get some rest. Thankfully I passed the 4mm stone yesterday. Saw my urologist, all is well, knocking on wood that this doesn't happen again anytime soon. There was talk of surgery when I went to the ER because of where the stone had lodged itself. I was panicking, not because of surgery, but because Owen's birthday is Friday & his party is next weekend. So glad it didn't come to that!

I'm back to feeling 100% and glad to get back to my normal routine. I wouldn't wish kidney stones on my worst enemy!

Oh no!! I hope you are feeling better & they stay away. I had a kidney stone back in 2001 (I was 21) & it was awful. Just the thought makes me squirm.

So glad you passed it and are feeling better. I had two not too long ago and I agree, worst pain ever!

I had two stones and also two kidney infections during my last pregnancy. I ended up being admitted to the hospital for 2 days for one of the infections. WORST PAIN EVER.

I have heard that this is the worst pain ever too. So glad you're feeling better and hope that it doesn't come back!
