Are any of your LO's down to one nap already?
Juliana only dropped from 3 naps down to 2 a couple of months ago but she's already showing signs of starting to drop to 1. Her morning nap used to be about 45-60 minutes and recently it's been more like 30. The afternoon nap used to be around 4:00 and recently it's been more like 3:00 since the morning one is so short. I have mixed feelings about a 1 nap schedule. I kind of like her napping in the late afternoon when I'm finishing up work so that if it's been a really rough day I can nap with her. A mid-day nap is out of the question for me and obviously I can't nap if she's awake.

I think Avery is on the verge... Some days it's 1 nap some days it's 2. On the days it's 2, the 2nd is a very short power nap in the later afternoon. Personally, I always prefered the 1 long nap a day. It was just easier to work around & plan outings around.

Some days 1 some days 2. Today is a 1 nap day. To be honest, I dont like it. I'll tell ya why. Kaitlyn still naps daily (yes, she 4 and still naps). She naps from 2-4pm. Kaileigh usually naps from 10-12pm then 2:30 to 4:30. So I always had that few hours to myself in the afternoon. Now Kaileigh wants to nap from 1-3pm, and she wakes Kaitlyn up at 3 so she only gets a 1 hour nap, and thats just not good for her.
I've thought about trying to get Kaitlyn to nap in her room. Since she used to be an only child she always napped with me on the couch. Bad habit I know, but oh well. So now she still takes her nap on the couch but Kaileigh wakes her up. My goal is to now try Kaitlyn napping in her room, so she still gets her full nap, and Kaileigh gets her full nap too.

She usually has 2 naps sometimes 1, sometimes 3...yeah all over the place! 1 nap sounds great to me, like Mandy said, easier to plan around.

Maggie seemed like she was on the verge a couple months ago, but she is still getting 2 good naps each day as a rule. Unless we're out and about, she's getting 2 hours in the am and 2 hours in the pm.

Leah's naps are very unpredictable. She's pretty much ready for her nap everyday around 12 after we come home from the gym. She usually naps about 1.5 to 2 hrs. Then she'll try to take a nap around 5 some days which kinda sucks, because she'll nap until 6 or 7 sometimes. I like to have her in bed by 8:30, so that late nap can jack up her bedtime.
Yesterday she napped a total of 30min. It was awful. My parents are in town, and she was so excited it's like she couldn't let herself sleep for a good amount of time. By the time 8:30 hit...she was soooo tired, it was like she was drunk.
So...all that said. I prefer 2 naps per day. Ideally 11-1 and 5-6. Do you guys find it hard to get LO to eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks with all the napping they do?

Noah still naps usually 2 times a day 10-11 and then 2-4 except today he did not sleep during his morning nap so he may be ready to go down to one.

Jamie seems to be moving to one. He used to do 9:00-10:30 and 2:00-3:15. Now one around 11:00 or 1:30 depending on how he's acting and he seems to sleep better at night.

Eva's pretty much down to one, this happened last she was fighting her morning naps and then we tried putting her down an hour or two later (around 12pm-1pm) and she started going down much easier.

Kellen is a 1 nap a day baby now. Usually he naps from 11 - 1. On occasion, he'll take a 30 minute nap around 5 but I don't like him to since it's so close to bed time. I pretty much go with the flow on that one though.
The torture is that Kaila, my 2 year old, has not been taking a nap for months. She's very high energy and the only time she naps is when she passes out mid-activity.
All kids are asleep before 8pm and usually get a solid 12 hours, so I'm pretty sure they're getting enough sleep.

We are pretty much on one nap and it sucks. I have to use his nap to do lecture prep and it's over so quick I barley get a shower or anything else I need to do solo. Grrr.

Vincent's pretty much down to 1 nap on most days now too. Usually around 1-ish. Sometimes he'll take a second shorter nap in the early evening depending on how long and what time his first nap was. But I think we'll try to keep him to one nap if we can.
