So many of you know that my teaching job this year has been nightmarish due to my insane principal. My whole school district is going crazy due to budget cuts and right now, I don't have a position. I have a job, but I don't know at what school or what I will be teaching. I am waiting for them to notify me, hopefully in the next day or two.

Anyway, I just got a call from my former assistant principal. He left the school district and is opening a charter school. He offered me a position teaching technology k-5. I just earned my master's degree in technology and this would be my ideal job.

My only concern is I might lose all my retirement. Yikes! I am excited and nervous.

It sounds wonderful but I can imagine the possibility of losing retirement is scary. Very excited for you!

I checked today and it looks like I will get to keep my retirement. I will need to verify that tomorrow but that would be the only thing holding me back so I am excited!
