How did they do? How many did they get?
Kaileigh got 4 shots. Two in each thigh. She was tired all day yesterday and then today tired except for the last 3 hours. Very very fussy, temp is 101.0. Her one thigh looks great but 1 shot area on the other is red and knotted. I know she got knotted with all her shots before, but this all began 24 hours AFTER they were given.
Any side effects with your LO's 12 month vaccinations?

We got 2 in each leg and, for the first time, she had no adverse reactions.

Ethan got 3 shots, one in each thigh and one in the back of one arm. He did great. He cried, but stopped as soon as I picked him up. No fever, no fussiness, no reactions whatsoever.
Except I came back to add....4 days later he got a hard red knot around one of the injections in the thigh. It's still there but fading a bit I think.

Ty and TJ each got their MMR and Prenar and I did the tb prick. They have been fine, except a little bit more tired yesterday. I'll finish up their 12 month shots at 15 and 18 months.

That's what we did today too. I wanted the MMR in individual shots but our office doesn't have it like that.
(So yeah, we did two)
Sophie cried hard for like 10 seconds, then she was fine. She really hasn't even been cranky today.

He just got his today - just one in each thigh. No reactions so far. He cried for a minute or two after but then was happy as can be. Hopefully he won't have any side effects.

Did they get the MMR separate vaccines now? I heard they were redeveloping them for sometime in 2011, but hadn't heard they were out anywhere yet?
Daniel got 3 I think... can't remember exactly. He didn't have any reaction. But it is VERY common for them to run a fever after the 12 month shots. And I was reading the other day in some medical journal stuff that said we really should be recommending Motrin over Tylenol for fevers for vaccines. Apparently the acetaminophen (Tylenol) works against the vaccines where the ibuprofen (Motrin) won't. Quite interesting because we've ALWAYS told moms to use Tylenol if baby develops a fever from shots.

Kaileigh's side effects started the second day (24 hours later). She ran a temp and was super cranky. Today is day 3 and she's back to normal but the one leg still has a knot in it.

My pedi doesn't seperate MMR either. I wasn't able to with Leah either. I think it is hard to find pedi offices who do keep them seperate.

They didn't even have separate MMR shots for years now. Like they don't make them. But they were supposed to re-release it that way this year sometime. Has anyone heard that they have done this?

I haven't heard anything
I was just going by Dr. Sears' "The Vaccine Book" and Dr. Bob claims to split his up.
His delayed schedule is Mumps at 12 months, Rubella at age 2, & Measles at age 3. I thought about holding off MMR until Age 2 since I couldn't split it up but worried because we fly a lot it might not be a good idea.
