After trying every milk under the sun (I kid you not) it was plain ol' regular soy milk. Not flavored, which today when we were reading the labels on the milk at TJ's we saw that the vanilla soy milk actually has 1 less gram of sugar than "regular" soymilk. How in the heck? I still got regular, I mean I don't think that 1 gram is going to kill her LOL.

I wouldn't taste it but apparently it tastes the most like breastmilk. (Well, I have no idea---DH said this, and I know that sounds gross but come on, I pumped too once upon a time. It's not like he latched on or anything LMAO)

So yeah. Try soy if everything else sucks.

Both my girls are on soy. I buy regular and vanilla. Kaileigh has only had vanilla on accident, by drinking her sisters. I wont give it to her because it tastes sweeter, and I dont want her to get used to sweet milk. I tried it but I didnt like it.

Too much soy is bad, but really that would be if you were like eating all soy based products and drinking only soy milk. Most people don't get that much and we wouldn't be giving the kids too much by just letting them drink the milk.

We do the regular soy milk too. It is YUMMY to me. My DD loves the chocolate Silk too. I like the almond milk more than soy, but I have developed a taste for soy now and really enjoy it. I think we might just switch to ONLY buying soy instead of both soy and cows. Both my sons can't have cows milk, so it would be easier and cheaper that way I think.

I heard that too, like it can affect hormone levels? I think cow's milk is first choice if its tolerated but a lot of people can't tolerate it or it takes awhile to develop tolerance. I think if a baby is on soy milk doesn't mean they will be on soy milk for the rest of their lives.

Yeah, we don't even get through 1/2 a sippy of milk a day (if that, I totally feel so wasteful) she just isn't into it---but this was the first one that she didn't just like let pour out of her mouth (haha) but that's why I didn't try soy originally. I am going to mix it with goat milk this morning and see what she does with goat soy milk....or maybe even mix it with breastmilk again. I just want to be done pumping but I might start pumping a lot to build up a freezer stash so I can put it in sippies.

I need a 3rd boob or something.
