I can't believe it's been a year! We are having what was supposed to be a small get together tomorrow with my sister's family since her daughter's first birthday is tomorrow. It is now much larger then we expected and now cousins, grandparents, aunts and friends are coming too so I guess River is getting a first birthday party after all even though we didn't plan it that way. Ah well.

It is also going to be a very hard day for the family as it was the day my sister was supposed to be induced for her twins that passed away. I'm feeling a little guilty about celebrating River and Ava (my niece)'s birthdays when we were supposed to be celebrating my other two niece's births. I sent my sister a memorial necklace with the June birthstone in it for both girls and I'm hoping it gets there in time so she will know I haven't forgotten what tomorrow is for her.
