I went to Walmart this morning and picked up a container of Lil'Crunchies Gerber Graduates. Miranda loves them. I get home and open the box and can you freaking believe that someone had opened the box and emptied it out and stuffed a bunch of garbage in there and had put it back on the shelf. Of course it's my fault for not opening the lid in the store to see if it was sealed.

This is the 2nd time it has happened to me. Last time the seal was broken, but this really makes me angry.
I so do not feel like driving back to the store but I really wanted those crunchies for her. UGH!!!!

OMG! That is just ridiculous. I buy those for Ellie a lot too. I will definitely be checking them from now on.

thats crazy! i never check in the store to see if it is sealed, i cant believe people actually do that, what is with people!!!

I was contemplating all day if I should waste the gasoline money to go back to the store. It wasn't so much the $ as the fact that I really wanted to buy those for Miranda cause she loves them and now she has nothing to snack on. grrr!!!
I will definitely be checking the seal every single time from now on.

That happened to me once with the graduates crunchies. I get home and the seal had already been broken. So I had throw out the entire can. I was NOT impressed.

I've made a point to check all the seals now on the things I buy....especially for the baby!

That sucks! We bought those once for our DS1 when he was a baby. We couldn't believe how few there were in the can and how expensive they were. They were basically the same as Cheese Puffs. So we just bought Cheese Puffs from then on. You get way more for practically the same price. And the boys love them.

Wow, what balls! I guess I will be double checking everything from now on.

My husband caught a shoplifter last night at work, well her plate. I guess she took baby food, emptied a packet of pacifiers and a box of tampons. I wonder what kind of stress she was under to do that.

That's ridiculous. I wonder who would do something like that? Like they ate the crunchies themselves or fed the crunchies to their child in the store? Really insane!

Yup we have had that happen to us too with Pringles. We didn't think anything to check we got home DH went to go grab them and open them up and they were half gone. Ever since then we check. Because while it was only a 1.50 it made me mad.

Thats why I get so annoyed when I see people eating stuff before they buy it at the store because some of them I know just put them back on the shelf.

I'd be mad too!!! I bought a can of formula awhile back got hone opened it and the seal was gone and could tell someone had used it! I live 30 minutes away from the store and called and talked to the manager and they let me take it on the next day and get a new can just glad I had enough formula to make it through the night since then I check everything that has a seal on it lol
