that the mall stores hardly carry anything for little boys. I really wanted to get Tommy a pair of sneakers, every store had tons of girls shoes in size 3 and up. There were like 2 options for boys and none came in a 3. Same thing with clothing...it's so annoying.
Its actually like this with a lot of stores. Boys get 2-3 racks, same shirts just different colors, saying and top of 5 different looks. Same generic looks for pants. I'm so sick of it honestly. Boys can be cute too however designers must disagree.

I find it annoying as well. Boys should be allowed to be versatile too! For 2 yrs now I have been searching for a leather motorcycle jacket for DS to wear during our not very cold FL winters and also for him to wear the "Grease" costume I am going to have in one of these Halloweens but it's like a needle in a haystack, OR it costs $200 from Harley Davidson. But you better believe I'd be able to find some SPongeBob in every style known to man
I can find cute shoes because we do the robeez types. Other then that, its the same style over and over and over. OR you get the cheesy versions that are their favorite character. Which by the way, boys play hard, they fall apart easily. I bought the boys a pair of toy story shoes less then 3 months ago, I have already had to replace my oldest sons shoes! The whole sole fell off! We didn't buy him the same pair. Ugh.
Dear makers BOYS CAN BE CUTE TOO!
Rebecca, have you searched ebay or something similar?

Yeah I am noticing it too. Once they get older its seems easier. But I am liking Old Navy at the moment and Gymboree and Children's Place but unless I get coupons for the last two or hit their sales/clearance its not really gonna happen.
Those are the 3 stores I tend to shop in for Tommy as well. Still not as good as a selection as the girls though, even though their boys stuff is usually cute.
Are you on childrens place mailing list? They are always sending emails with coupons, also parents magazine seems to always have a gymbo coupon. Old navy sends me emails with coupons but not nearly as often as CP.
Not yet. I really should sign up on the mailing list. I just scored so well with Rosie that I really didn't have to buy her clothes. Unless it was a omg this is cute I need to have it..lol
I do need to get her 12+ months up though that are seasonal appropriate since all those I have are mainly summer..lol
Yeah it became much easier when my son Gage hit the boys section, we get a bunch of more options but still not as much as girls.
My 2.5 year old Dane has a TON of clothes because of his brother and the same will happen for Bishop. But its so annoying. I don't shop mall stores because the prices are just insane and I have to be super cheap/frugal. Unless I go to TJ Maxx, that's about it.
