Anybody have a secret how to get dirty bibs clean? They are starting to get worse and worse and even if they are washed they look dirty (w/ carrot stains and oatmeal stains). Not all- but some worst than others. I started to put orange bibs on Sophia when she is eating carrots and brown ones for oatmeal. But the white ones are the ones I have a lot of and the only food I have that is white is yoghurt. Anybody else have that problem?

Now that Tommy is eating solids and feeding himself, I don't use the cloth ones anymore. I use the big plastics ones, the food wipes right off.

I would spray n wash the cloth, it never really seemed to help with the tough stains.

I need to go buy some bibs because it sure is messy and if I don't' strip her down then her clothes get ruined.

I have been looking at the plastic type ones.

Right now I am using kitchen hand towels and sometimes she will keep it on and others not so much..lol

We use the plasticky-ones, too. They have some really cute ones, and they are a breeze to keep clean.

For the cloth ones, sometimes putting them out in the sun while they are wet will help, like with cloth diapers.

Omair hates the plastic ones so it's always been cloth. I've found that soaking them in the washer with soap a couple hours or overnight for stubborn stains really gets them out (at least for us). All of our bibs still look like new. Before I started soaking they were always dirty and stained. All of ours are colored, though. I don't think anything would work other than bleaching in the sun for white ones.
