I graduated 8 years ago with the intentions of NEVER going back to school. I hated it that much! LOL...I did great in school though! I passed with A's.
Well, I decided I wanted to go to college after all. Soooo, I applied to a Technical college in my area yesterday. I was given a study guide for the COMPASS test and OMG, a lot of the writing is over my head. I used to do so well in Grammar and now I am doing so bad on the practice tests.
And the Pre-Algebra and Algebra....What. A. Joke, lol!!!! I tried to have DH tutor me but you couldn't remember certain things too. But I am not worried about the math section b/c that is not needed for what I am going for. But I would still like to score well in those area's so I don't look like a dummy.

Lesson-Try not to wait so long, after graduating, to go to College.

It's mommy brain I have it too! It takes a lot more work to retain things nowadays than pre-kids lol!!!

I know the feeling well! My brain stalls out whenever I peek at my DH's college studies.

I swear, being pregnant and having a baby has made me stupid. LOL People weren't kidding about mommy-brain!

I'm sure you will do great though!! That's awesome how you decided to go back, and that's a great thing for your kids to see you do too. You rock!

That is so awesome you have decided to go back to school. It takes alot to do that, because I SWORE as well that I wouldn't go back. Ditto on the mommy brain, but you can do it!

I take the test Monday. I have heard, on numerous occasions, that they make the practice tests harder than what they really are to scare the crap out of you.
I am ready to get it out of the way
