Is anyone beginning to buy fall/winter clothing yet?
What sizes are you planning on buying?

Thankfully I don't have to buy any clothes for the fall. Caleb has hand me downs from 2 of my nephews, a friend of mine who has twin boys, and my other friend's son. I actually went through it all and just pulled my favorites and the rest is going to consignment...and I still have more than enough! I am planning on 18 to 24 months for him.
Grace is another story. I have some hand me downs from my friend who has twin girls but once the kids hit 4T they wear their clothes out! I need to get her a bunch of things. Her growth has slowed down so I will stick to mostly 4T and a few 5T. Hopefully I'll be able to take the money I make on Caleb's extra clothes at consignment and go shopping for Gracie girl. I am such a Scrooge when it comes to spending money on clothes.... I mean they only wear it a few times and they have outgrown it.

I stalk Kohls until their Jumping Bean stuff is on sale. I often get each piece for $2 (so an outfit is $4), not too bad. Jumping Bean seems to run a bit small, so Avery will be probably only be in 12 month stuff for a little while, then 18. Mom & I might go to the Carter's outlet up in Strasburg (PA) & pick-up a few things. She'll probably be in 12 mo for Carter's until winter.

Ive been picking up a few things here and there and grabbing 18 months.
She is just now wearing 12 month bottom, in fact she still wears mostly 6-9 month shorts, so I seriously think she will need 12mth jeans, but 18 months shirts.
Kaitlyn will need size 5 slim pants, and 5 shirts. Notice no T in that
Some of the clothes I have saved from Kaitlyn is size 12 months winter, so Im hoping I dont need to buy to much, but seeing as they were born different seasons I really need to dig it out and go through it all.

Oh yeahhh....it will be cold here again around Labor Day, it's still in the 40's at night. Hanna Andersson is doing a "pre-sale" for back to school/fall stuff.....so we have taken advantage of that, but that's really it.

We got a couple of things from the outlet mall... She is in 18 months right now but I think her growth is slowing down, so we are getting 18 and 24 months.

I've picked up a couple things along the way that were super cheap or on clearance. I'm sure 18 months will be perfect for the fall/winter. He wears some 18 month shorts and pants now because they fit better over cloth diapers but they're always too long for my short guy. He has some 18 month shirts too but they are a little big too. I'm guessing they'll fit better in a few months.

I have bought some 18m stuff at the gap when they had the 1.97 rack and a few other things off clearance. Other than that, she has a few hand me downs from my niece, but we are gonna have to shop. It really doesnt get cold here until late October.

I'm stocked up on 18 month clothes, between my hand-me-downs and the BRUs clearance sale last month. It's all about the biggun now, and we plan on checking out Once Upon a Child for her.

I've pretty much got Noah done, he's going to be in 24 mos, 18 mos fit perfectly right now, I bought those all last winter on clearance at Kohls. The girls are set because they get hand me downs from their cousins and a lot of other people. Keegan will need some new pants sz 8 slim and probably a couple more long sleeve shirts.

I havent bought Ty any yet, but he has a few items that my mom bought him for his birthday. My mom loves to shop, I hate to shop, so she buys most Julia and Ty's clothes. Come to think of it, she buys my whole families clothes, including the twins, me and dh My MIL used to buy all dh's clothes and send them to us, but since she passed away, now my mom buys his clothes.
I think Ty will be in 18-24 months clothes as he is in 12-18 months now.

I dont know why I hate to shop I hated it as a kid and just continued to hate it. Its great for my dh because I am not one to spend our money on just casual shopping. My mom goes to the mall almost every weekend to shop so she calls me and asks what we all need then she goes and buys it for us. She does the same thing for my brother and sisters families. My brother is 39 years old and I dont think he has ever in his life bought a stitch of clothing for himself. My mom has bought it all since he was born.

My MIL is the same way with my DH. We are always getting packages in the mail from her. I can't remember the last time he had to buy clothes.

wow, both of you are so lucky. To be honest I dont think MIL has bought him clothes since he was 15. Thats when he got his first job, and I know before we were "officially" dating that he would go buy his own school clothes. Then when we were dating, I was 15, I always went with him and he used to cash his check and we'd go get clothes. His mom always was like "You have a job, get it yourself". He even had to pay his school lunch his self. My mom was completely opposite though. She always bought my clothes until I graduated and gave me lunch money, and I worked at age 15 too. Now she buys the girls clothes every so often (maybe every 6 months) but only an outfit or two.

Both of my girls are so weird in size.
Charlotte wears 18 mos in pants (24 mos fit in the waist but are too long), but can wear any where from 6/9 mos-24 mos in shorts and skirts. For shirts, short-sleeved she wears 18 mos-3T, long-sleeved are 18 mos. Shoes, i have no idea as she doesnt wear them yet.
Samantha wear in shorts, any where from 12 mos- 6x. Yeah, weird i know. In pants she wears some 2T and some 3T, depends on the brand. Shirts, any where from 2T-5T...even some youth small. And for shoes, she wears some 8's and some 9's.
Both of my girls make buying outfit sets almost impossible. Lol
