I totally disappeared for a long time because we were moving to our new house in VT. We still have boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It has been an interesting couple of weeks too. Stella had roseola, and then at the beginning of this week she got a weird rash (petichiae) that a thought could be meningitis. The doctor was mystified because she wasn't sick at all, but thought it might be from a temper tantrum she threw earlier in the day (I guess you can burst small blood vessels).

Sydney has roseola right now! Her fever has passed and she's in the rash stage (day 2 of the rash -- it's actually gotten better already). I can't believe how high the fever gets with roseola.

Welcome back

Welcome back! I'm sorry about the roseola. That sounds awful. I hope you love the new house.

Thanks all. It seems like almost everyone gets roseola, but weirdly I had never heard of it before having a baby.

Welcome back! I'm returning after a long absence too. Life with a one year old is crazy!

Arianna had roseola about a month ago. It was awful! Hope it resolves quickly for ya!

WB! Roseola seems pretty common, although I haven't had any experience with it. Hope she feels better soon!
Have fun unpacking, lol

Glad you're back. I think everyone has been a bit busy with our toddlers ::tear:: I know I haven't been able to post as much as I'd like. Glad you're all moved though, the boxes will put themselves up

Welcome back! Ethan had roseola too! Suddenly his fever shot up one evening and we couldn't get it down and it went up to 105 and he had a seizure. Went to the ER and it took them several hours to get it down to where we could go home. We fought with the fever for days. Took him to his dr and she said if he got a rash 24-48 hrs after his fever broke is was roseola. Sure enough, that's what it was!
