So, Arianna has pinkeye. It totally stinks! Anyone have advice on how to cope with this? She started antibiotic eyedrops tonight but they are so hard to get in her eye!

Poor girl!!! Kaileigh hasnt had it, buy Kaitlyn had it 2x. Once as a tiny baby (she was in daycare) and then once when she was 2 (right before we left daycare). It was hard at age 2. It took dh and I both holding her down to put drops in. It was a tough job, and when he was at work I had my neighbor help me hold her. I felt like such a mean mom having to do that but that was the only way to get drops in her eyes.

Sorry about that! Caden used to get it all the time. He is a daycare baby. He would fight us like crazy. We would lay him down and take a toy or something he was interested in and hang it over his head so his eyes were open and looking up. We then would very quickly drop them in his eyes. We had to repeat that process for both eyes. Also we would not let him see the bottle because if he did he would go crazy! Hope she feels better!

It sucks Alex has had it 2x and Cady 2x as well. I would lay them down, of course they'd close their eyes, but I'd put the drops in the corner and refuse to let them up until they opened their eyes...at which point the drops would disburse throughout the eyes and they'd be over it. Sucks but it was the only way I could get it in there!

I'm sorry I have no advice since I have never dealt with it. Hope it clears up soon.
