Is it unsafe you think for a baby to suck them? Mya HAS to have one anytime I touched the wipe container. I let her have them and she carries it like a dog bone just sucking it and wiping her face or arms lol. I tried cool washclothes but she didnt want anything to do with them. Shes been doing it for a month or so, Any harm you think?

I think most wipes are hypoallergenic and alcohol free. While it's probably not a fantastic thing to let her suck on, I don't think there is any real harm in it. The amount of whatever she's getting out of them can't be much, and it's not like she's chewing them and swallowing the paper, right?
I'm interested to see what the other girls opinions are...

I think she'll be fine. I mean, Bishop does it if he manages to get ahold of the bag. He's okay. We buy the fragrance free ones as well.

McKenzie sucks them too when she snatches them up before I can catch her lol. She is fine so I don't think they would harm Mya.

I have to give one to Miranda everytime I change her diaper, otherwise she tries to get away from me. She always ends up sticking it in her mouth and sucking on it.

That is one of Tommy's favorite things to eat/play with too, I let him have one while I'm changing him but take it away as soon as I am done.

Oh it could be worse. Megan when she was little she used to try and suck the water out of the sponge mops - ew gross! I think the wipes are not really bad.

Oh, wow.. I'm surprised at how common this seems to be! Omair doesn't do it, but I would have thought it wouldn't be so great, seeing all the chemicals listed on the package. But, if so many babies seem to do it regularly I guess it's ok after all, lol!

This is so funny, my LO does the same thing. I try to take it away from him before it enters his mouth but I'm not always fast enough.
