How was your weekend?

Was alright. Friday we had Josh's work "fun" day. Which normally we stay for a bit then bail. Well this time they were having a formation at the end so we had to stay.
Well let me tell you 9am-2pm is a long time with no nap for Rosie. she was so crabby at the end. I tried to sit in the car and hold her in hopes she would nap for even 30 minutes but I knew that wasn't going to happen. Outside of that she enjoyed herself walking around the play area.

Saturday and Sunday were lazy days we didn't do a dang thing. So they felt like they were wasteful..lol

Fine. Saturday we went to my Stepdad's company picnic at a pretty lake and Jackson LOVED playing in the water Sunday we just hung out, I did some baking and worked on Jackson's baby book, finally. Good weekend all in all, but HOT. Humidity is unbelievable around here lately.

Great! Saturday we had Miranda's Birthday party, so it was a busy day. Lots of food, lots of cake, and lots of kids. Sunday we just hung out and I actually got to sleep in until 8:30am. Went shopping a bit but other than that did nothing, just played with the kids and cleaned up. Weekends go by way too fast.

Good! I went to Orlando for the weekend to visit my brother and his newly pregnant gf! Dh stayed home to relax and I got to treat myself and my bro's gf to pedicures!

Sidenote though, I HATE driving to and from Orlando. I swear that city is so full of the world's worst drivers. Everytime I get stuck in traffic because of an accident as well as nearly am involved in several because people just don't look where they are going!!!! grrrrrrr.

Ours was pretty good for the most part. We went tubing down the river with friends which was awesome fun except for the fact that my husband managed to lose his keys, $70, and his wedding ring in the river. I'd be more upset about that but he worked a lot of overtime so we could afford to lose the money even though it totally sucks and we were getting ready to buy him a new wedding ring anyway because he's lost a lot of weight and it was getting really loose, which is why he lost it. Sunday we went to see Cowboys & Aliens with my FIL while MIL watched Ellie and then Sunday night we had our weekly True Blood party. Now I'm back at work this week and trying to get back into the routine.
