Ive never had to do this so Im lost. I've even tried googling but nothing.
Any idea how I can anchor the crib to the wall? When she is inside it she stands up and tries rocking it back and forth, and then yesterday and this morning, I caught her trying to climb IN it from the outside. She got her feet on the bottom part and tried stepping up. She couldnt do it all the way and wont for a while but I'd like it to be secured just in case so it wont tip over with her on it.
Any ideas at all? I mean, I know how to anchor bookshelves to the wall but that meant I had to screw into the bookshelf, I dont want to have to screw into the crib or damage it in any way.

The anchors I got for our bookshelves used zip ties between the anchor on the wall and the anchor on the shelf. Is there a way to use the same kind of anchors and just get some really long zip ties to wrap around the back rail of the crib instead of anchoring the unit on the back of the crib?
Other jerry rigging ideas I have are similar. Can you get those cup like hooks that screw into your wall/ceilings and use rope/scarf or something like that? It kinda depends what the back of your crib is like.
Wow...she's fearless!

I know she is a very very mischievousness little girl.
Becky, All I could think of was using those eyelit things Screw them into a stud in the wall, and then use zip ties to secure it. I'm off to lowes in a bit to see what I can find.

This is exactly what I was trying to describe.
Good luck.

Does she climb out of the crib? Maybe just turn it into a toddler bed and be done with it...
I like the earthquake kit idea..
No she doesnt climb out of it, just tries to climb in it but when she's in it, she tries to shake it back and forth, it's pretty sturdy but when I seen her climb on the outside of it, that scared me, I dont want to take that chance, and I'd rather secure it.

I just sent an email to DH and will let you know ASAP. Our crib is anchored to the wall because Kaila was moving herself all over the room and throwing things off shelves, etc. I didn't want to just lock the brakes since I knew it could tip.
I can't figure out what he did or used but it works! More to come...

Okay, so dh apparently made some metal L-shaped contraption that he screwed into the leg of the crib and then into the wall. It has worked like a champ. She's strong and can't budge it. I'll take a picture tomorrow if you'd like?
