I was at the ER Saturday night with severe lower abdominal pain. They diagnosed me with PID (which I highly doubted...but went along with because they didn't want to do an u/s).

Today the pain got worse, so around noon I had to go BACK to the ER. I tried calling 10 different ob-gyns but none of them would take my insurance unless I'm pregnant, so I went back in. They did everything else all over again..no sign of infection (PID was a misdiagnosis), BUT they DID do an ultrasound. Turns out I had a huge hemorhagic cyst on my left ovary burst...and I have blood throughout my abdomen, thus causing the severe pain.

So, just thought I'd let everyone know what is going on with me. I haven't been around a whole lot lately I think I've been dealing with this cyst from start to finish for a week now. Just taking pain medication now to try to deal with it and continue working. Ugh. Can I NOT get a break? First tooth problems, root canal, crown, abcess, and gum infection. NOW this!

Oh my gosh....that sounds terrible!! I hope you recover quickly and are at least able to relax a little. I know, when it rains it pours

Wow! You sound like me! Root canal gone wrong. Crown. Gum abcess. On and on . AND Ive been having recurrent abdominal pain in my lower right quadrant! Hurts so bad I can barely walk when it hits. AND my insurance only covers me preggers!
