This is a long long story, but I won't bore you with the details, just give you the main points.
- the kids started with a new sitter this week, whom I really liked and she's close to our house and her kids are very close in age with mine.
- Isabelle said some things that 'supposedly' happened there, which we questioned and eventually got to the bottom of what went on. It was more the kids being mean to each other and things being made up more than anything, but who do you belive....the child or the grown up, right?
-because of these things that 'supposedly' went on one of the sitters (there are 2 ladies watching the kids) decided that she wasn't going to do it anymore, so unfotunately the other lady cannot do it by herself and she can't watch my kids anymore
Bottom line - I don't have a sitter for next week.
Can I just scream right now!!!!!!!!!!
I can't be mad at Isabelle even though it seems like she's making things up, but on the other hand do I really know if the sitter is telling me the truth either. Kids that age are really hard to figure out and are so easily lead and you have to ask 20 different ways to get the full story. Stories keep changing but the doubt is always there. And now we are all screwed!

I'm just so frustrated, cause it took me so long to find this one and I really liked her and it totally worked for us. I dont' know what else to do. And I can't quit my job!

Oh no! I am in a similar boat. I start work Monday and I don't have a daycare yet! Aghhh!!! so frustrating.

How frustrating. I hope you get it figured out. I can't imagine having to scramble last minute like that. At the very least they could have given you a heads up.

((hugs)) im so sorry, i wish there was some thing i could do to help you out You can bring them up here and I will watch them while you find someone closer, but that would probably make for a lot more travel than you want

Thanks Bree. I don't think we can get up any earlier than we already do.
Well I've talked with DH and hopefully we can work something out with work, where I work from home 2xweek and he works from home 1xweek, then we only have to worry about 2 days. Hopefully my SIL next door can watch the baby 1 day and my mother will agree to watch her the other day. Once school starts it will be easier.
Hopefully my neighbour that is moving to Australia can look after them still next week. I know she's leaving end of Aug. and she wanted to stop babysitting a couple of weeks before that to get packed etc. But maybe she'll feel sorry for me.
I feel better today but still frustrated. I don't even want to look for anyone because I did before and could find no one else I liked.
