If you allow your LO to watch tv, do they have a favourite?

Our tv is ALWAYS on, yet the the kids don't really watch that much. They will go play, come back for 5 minutes or so, and then take off again. We just like it more for the background noise.

Anyways, Alivia's favourite show is Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Some of you may have seen my FB statuses about it haha

She will sing along with them, counts all their coins and answers all of their questions with a "Yes" or "No". Obviously the singing and counting is all baby gibberish, but it's still cute!!

If I put this on, she will actually sit on the floor and watch the entire episode without moving. She gets so excited when I put it on for her!

like you, the tv can often be found on for the background noise, but that doesn't mean anyone is watching it. Rebecca loves watching movies and tv, (so do DH and I, so that isn't really a surprise) but Nathan doesn't really pay attention to it. yet, anyway.

I dont have the TV on much, I don't have cable and my wii stopped working so I canceled my streaming netflix subscription. If the TV is on, its usually a Baby Einstein movie or some other cartoon movie.

I don't watch tv often but it is DH's favorite past time. Stevie likes to watch anything with lots of action or animals. He seems enthralled with wrestling (I am not too thrilled about it).

Sam doesn't really pay attention to the tv yet, he dances whenever he hears music though.

Jackson loves Yo Gabba Gabba and The Wiggles. We don't have cable either but we have streaming Netflix and my Mom bought him some Wiggles DVDs. He also has 1 or 2 Baby Einstein DVDs that he loves. I really didn't want him watching TV at this age but sometimes it is the only thing that will calm him down and get him to stop fussing.

We don't have cable so we don't have any kids channels anymore. We do watch movies and some shows on DVD.

Bishop really isn't into tv, if the sound is interesting or there are bright colors he'll watch for a few minutes and then go right back on his merry way.

TV is on all day. The only show I purposely put on is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. For either 30 minutes-hour. She won't sit for the whole thing but she will sit for a good 15-20 minutes of that show and only that show. I like it because during that time I can get breakfast made and know she is content..lol
She loves TV but moves on fairly quick.

My LO watches baby Einstein dvd's, and his favorite is Sesame street kids favorite songs DVD. He zones in on the tv when this is on, and he smiles whenever Elmo comes on the screen. This is the only way I can get dinner ready.

wyatt doesnt watch tv and has no interest in it... although his favorite commercial is the at&t flash mob one where the guy rips off his raincoat and starts dancing and says "we are" as soon as wyatt hears his shoes squeak he struggles to jump up and starts dancing and bobbing with him.... it is hillarious
