Lately, Juliana is on a kick with "B" words. She can say ...
Ball
Bear
Bird
Bye
Baby
Bubble
Boobie (her favorite!)
Boo-Boo
Book
Bath
She used to say da da and dog, but I haven't heard them in over a week! Now the only non-B words I hear her say are ma ma and uh-oh. Is my kid weird, or are others doing this?

Not doing this at all.
You should take video of it, I'd love to hear her say those. Both my kids have been late talkers but oh well, now my 4 yr old wont hush so no big deal to me...lol

We actually got a video of her saying bubble for the first time over the weekend. We were blowing bubbles and the dog was going crazy trying to eat them, and out of nowhere she said "bubble" and I was like, OMG that's 2 syllables! I'll have to see if I can post that one.

Arie says a ton of B-word as well, but she also says other words (dog, daddy, mama, fish, ocean...and the ever present "that!")

I think its normal. Caden was an early talker and was speaking in complete sentences at the age of 2. London seems like she is going to be like him. She can say Mama, daddy, Caden (not so clearly, but we know what she is saying), stop, no, nose, ball, eat and uh-oh...im sure there are a few more but I don't remember. She will try to repeat words if you ask her to. Her words are really random though. But other than that its alot of baby talk.
Shannon I know right about having a 4 year old that wont be quiet! haha I mean Caden is crazy, everything is why this, why that and he tries to actual argue his little point when Im trying to explain to him why he can't have something. Sometimes I wish that he would hush!!!!! From the time I pick him up from daycare until his head hits his pillow there is talking non-stop!
I'm honestly in no hurry for london to start talking right away, because I am not looking forward to the sibiling arguments!

Arie talks SOOOO much right, its constant chatter. I'm not talking about words, which she will stay sometimes, I'm just talking about babbling. She walks around talking her head off, gesticulates...its like she is on speed or something!!! This is making me worried about when she really starts talking!

LOL cute!! I hadn't noticed her arguing, but she will walk around and pump her fist and point at things and just go on this long (I'm talking 20 minutes here), fast speech...I don't know who she is talking to or what she is talking about LOL.

Maggie is all over the map too - but I think this week she is favouring the B consonant too.
Maggie does argue with me. Cute little story: I was in the shower, and she pulled back the curtain. I put it back and said No. She pulled it back, repeat and I said No. Did it again. And again. I said no each time. Then she pulled it back with real strength and said "YES". LOL.
I'm in trouble big time. We have these little arguments at least twice a week!

totally normal! kenna did that a lot as a baby, she would move on from one sound to the next. one week it was all mmmmmmms, she'd just constantly make the m sound over and over, then it was b, then d. she kind of does it now, she says a lot of things with the d sound. like when she points to a baby, she'll say "day dee" but really fast so it's more like d-dee lol

Yep. We're on the "B" kick too. The b words just happen to be most of his favorite things though, too. He says Bella, ball, baby, bye bye, and book. I don't think most people can tell the difference between all those words, but I can tell he's saying different things. Haha! He really doesn't say many words that don't start with "B". He says Dada occasionally and Mama incessantly.

Sydney does "b" too. Ball, book, baba, bye. She doesn't seem to favor any particular consonant though. This morning she said "apple" over and over while she was eating one. She switches day to day on what she says.

Aaron doesn't talk yet (well, not English, at least) but when he babbles he favors "b" a lot lately. He'll walk around saying, "babababababababa" often.
