When was your last date night? What did you do? Any plans for one soon?

I would say Monday we had a little date. I played hookie from work and we had lunch at cheese cake Factory. Then we walked the mall and went home and napped before picking the girls up! haha. Our next date I would say is in a week. Im taking off to get my consealed weapons permit and after that we hare heading to the movies to go see planet of the apes. Im so excited to have this time with him!

It's been a while since a "good one".`
We were on vacation at the end of July and Eric and I left Emmett napping with my parents and grabbed a quick bite to eat. It was a pretty short time and I was very sick the whole lunch.
Before that...who knows. I know we need to do more but our schedule just gets so jammed packed that it's hard to squeeze it in there.

Honestly...the last time we had a real "date night" with just the two of us, Jr was a couple of months old, and Carlos finally talked me into leaving him with his sister so we could go out for dinner. I hated leaving him so much, we've never done it again....
I kind of feel bad because I know Carlos would like to go out more by ourselves. I just can't bring myself to leave Jr anywhere.

It def is hard when they are babies but you def need to spend time with your hubby to have a healthy relationship. your Jr will be just fine! What we normally do is put the girls to bed before we head out so all our sitter has to do is just chill and watch tv while they are sleeping. I feel so much better knowing they are sound asleep

I havent had one. None, Nada. At least not out of the house.
We do date nights in all the time. Put the girls down, enjoy a late dinner ordered in, pop in a movie..you get the point
We do date nights with our kids too though, which involves dinner, bowling, putt-putt, ect..We love having our kids with us so its no big deal and we all enjoy it.
Our 10 year anniversary is coming up and we will be going out on our first date night out in a few weeks with out the girls. I am beyond nervous about it too.

We havent had a "date" really since Ty was born. We spend all our time with our kids together. We have no plans for one at the moment, but when we do go out, our favorite thing to do is go to the casino. We never win much or at all, but its fun to go eat for free, and gamble and be together. We have Indian Reservations all over where we live (I belong to one also as I am part Native American) so the casinos are great!!

I think it was last week? Or the week before? We went to dinner and to see Harry Potter. I try to get a real just us date night at least once a month. We need it for our own sanity. Plus our kids adore spending time with every single one of our babysitters, so it works out fine.

The last time we actually went out to eat was when my mom was here, which was April or May. But we've left her at the neighbor's house for about 2 hours while we had quality time alone at home a few times. We do that about once per month. We're due for one. My mom is going to be here next weekend and we need to plan a date. I'm thinking we should go somewhere longer than 2 hours now, so not just dinner. We don't like watching movies in the theater. Any ideas? I'd love to go to the Mt. Hood Ski Bowl to go snowboarding (we have it year round here) but it takes almost 2 hours each way to get there. When DH and I used to go, it was like a 6 am - 7 pm thing, and I don't want to leave her that long. I still haven't left her more than 5 hours and that was for work.

I haven't had a "date night" as long as I can remember, but we've had a few Sunday morning dates--breakfast and a movie. The last one being Harry Potter.

We haven't had a date night since last February on Valentine's Day. I was about 4 months preggo with Aidyen and we went to Olive Garden and saw a movie. That was the first one is about 9 years. I made plans a few weeks ago to have one but then backed out. I have sever seperation anxiety and can't bring myself to be away from Aidyen. I know we need to and a part of me really does want to but I just can't do it yet.

For an entire year almost (July 2010 - June 2011) DH and I only went out alone once and that was in December 2010 when my parents were down for Christmas. Finally we got brave and went out for dinner and a movie for our wedding anniversary (June 11th) and after that it was SO easy to go out....well not "easy" but I think just getting past that 1st time is the key....although the 2nd time we went out (a few weeks ago, the one I was talking about) I just remembered we actually didn't do dinner and a movie....just a movie, so we were gone only 3 hours!
It's also easier leaving Sophie with my parents vs. a friend (not that I don't love and trust my friends) but I've been in Texas since Friday and I've got to go and see TWO movies with one of my best friends already! (The Help & Final Destination 3) so I feel like i'm a pro now....I used to cry but I think i'm finally over the crying....but I wish we had the luxury of having my parents close by
(Crossing fingers they will retire soon and move near us!)

I love to go to do stuff with Zach alone! We totally act like the old us, in hs and college and are completely immature. I love it. I wouldn't trade our date nights for anything! We only get them when we go home though (or his parents come here since I wouldn't leave my kids with anyone else) but I do love them, we have lots of fun together. we still act like we did in hs anyway though

We very rarely go out, the cost of a sitter for six kids is way more than the date I think the last time was a few months ago we had to get costumes for an event with Evelyn & Reid's German dance group. It was a fun few hours just being a couple and not Mom & Dad.
