Are there any baby gear related items that you regret purchasing/registering for?
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else?
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up?
Is there anything you can't part with, for whatever reason?

Are there any baby gear related items that you regret purchasing/registering for?
Our high chair (Peg Perego Prima Pappa) --- I kept hearing they were a pain to clean but didn't listen.
Snuggle Nest - Sophie tried to sleep in it ONE night but ended up just being right next to me in bed....that was so much easier than the nest. The "snuggle me" wrap things....I hated them, same with the Miracle Blanket (Happiest Baby on the Block class loved these) Also the Chicco walker thing....such a waste...Sophie liked the toys but we never used it as a walker. The baby bathtub that looks like a bucket....I can't remember what it's called but it's supposed to be more calming for babies??? LOL WHATEVER.
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else? I sold my high chair when I left for Texas and ordered a Boon Flair highchair (I'm really excited about that when I get home, DH surprised me!) I'm trying to get rid of my co-sleeper.
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up?
Cuddle nest and I wish I would have gotten a pretty bassinet instead of a co-sleeper....or I say that now....the co-sleeper was great but I really would like a "Humanity Bed" bolster thing next time.
Is there anything you can't part with, for whatever reason?
Sophie's sweetpeace swing. She still likes it but I don't think I can ever sell that....I'm going to end up on Hoarders one day. It was such a big part of our lives when she was a newborn, she loved napping in that thing.

Are there any baby gear related items that you regret purchasing/registering for? Yes, the Sophie Giraffe and the Vulli Chan Pie teethers Caleb never wanted anything to do with either of them. Guess they will make great chew toys for our new dog. With Caleb being my second I was lucky, in that, I already had an idea of things that I didn't want to waste money on.
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else?
I'm not keeping much. I have sold his jumperoo, exersaucer, highchair, and most of his baby toys. I plan to sell his walker very soon. I also have a Kettler 6 sided playpen with two bumpers, I'd love to sell but I know I won't get anywhere near what it's worth. I did keep the swing only because it plugs in.
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up? I wish I would have registered for more aden and anais swaddling blankets. I could have done with out the Kettler playpen, his walker, and his jumperoo (Grace loved it, Caleb hated it),
Is there anything you can't part with, for whatever reason? Caleb's giraffe. I think it will go to college with him. My carriers (Ergo and K'tan). That's about it...everything else can go. LOL After looking at all of it for close to 4 years, baby #3 can get some new items

Are there any baby gear related items that you regret purchasing/registering for? Yes I regret buying any sort of container really. Julia loved her containers! Ty hates being contained. By containers I mean: swing, walker, jump-a-roo, exersaucer, bouncy seat, etc. The jump-a-roo my sister gave us, and we bought everything else. We never bought a crib because we knew Ty would co-sleep, and we still had Julia's co-sleeper, but he never even used that and just slept with us in bed.
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else? My sister sold her jump-a-roo when we were done with it, everything else was brand new and Ty hardly ever used, so luckily, my bff's oldest daughgter (my twins bff) had a baby girl, her first baby, in March, and I gave and am giving her everything Ty no longer uses. I have already given her his walker, excersaucers. swing, bouncy seat, toys he grew out of, etc. I feel good because they go to a great home.
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up? I could have done without the exersaucer and swing, and nothing I really wish I had gotten that I didnt. Ty is a very low needs baby on material items.
Is there anything you can't part with, for whatever reason? Since we are done having babies, I happily give everything I can to my bff's daughter, and the only things I cannot/will not part with, are his keepsake baby clothes, blankets and a couple little toys that had been Julias too. Oh and I am keeping the co-sleeper as it is wooden and really nice that my twins or nieces can use for their babies if they choose to co-sleep. I am not sure, but I may hang onto the high chair and stroller depending on how good of shape they are in when I am done with them. They had been Julias and now Ty's and still like new. I may store them for use at "grandmas house" someday me being the grandma of course, beings I already have adult children.

Are there any baby gear related items that you regret purchasing/registering for? I don't think I can say that I regret any of the things we bought or registered for in terms of gear. I wish we had gotten a good umbrella stroller, but truth be told, I've survived without it, and it would have been more than I really needed most of the time.
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else? I tried to sell off some of her clothes, but apparently I'm not a very good online seller. All her things were super cute, and all of them were in fantastic condition, and I think I asked a fair price...go figure. Her gear I'm not really selling yet because well, I'm still wanting to try for baby #2. I had originally given myself 2 years, but it looks like we're extending that just a little while.
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up? I got 2 baby tubs for my shower. One never got used. I ended up donating this. I really think I used everything we got. We certainly never "wanted" for anything in that first year. I do wish that I had splurged and gotten her an upholstered arm chair that I've been in love with from ToysRus, but really, there's no "need" for it. It just would have been nice to have.
Is there anything you can't part with, for whatever reason? I sobbed when I took down the jolly jumper. Sobbed. I can't imagine parting with it ever, but time will tell. Eventually, everything can't stay without having a purpose. I've put away clothes from each stage of her first year and some keepsakes. I don't think I'll ever part with those until she has her own little girl. I'll absolutely never part with her Christening gown.

Maybe a few small things we didn't really use, but not really. Well, maybe the Fisher Price 4-in1 system we got because my MIL HAD to buy us a swing. We hardly used it.
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else?
The 4-in1 system I sold and bought a new high chair. I can't think of any other big things I've sold yet but I have several I need to sell - bouncer, play gym, infant tub, exersaucer, etc.
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up?
I got an Itzbeen timer which I used maybe 2 or 3 times so I could have done without that. I wish I had had an Arms Reach cosleeper from the beginning, and maybe one of those Fisher Price Rock and Play Sleepers. Also the Snuza monitor we got at Christmas would have been really handy from the start. And I wish I had registered for/gotten a nice stroller because I need a new one now. And I wish I had a diaper sprayer, but we didn't CD until a few months ago.
Is there anything you can't part with, for whatever reason?
Just some smaller things - clothes and such. I still use my Baby K'tan all the time but even when I don't I will keep it for baby #2 (although I'm hoping I'll have to get a smaller one by then). I think I will keep my Snuza monitor because it doesn't take up any room and I'll definitely use it next time (although I wonder if they'll come out with something better by then). And we'll probably keep a lot of our cloth diapers too. Most stuff I have no problem parting with.

Yes, I learned with my first the things I didnt really need. Like swing, bouncy, saucer, jumper, bath tub. My oldest hates them, and I had no intentions of buying them again but because everyone else bought them I did again. Waste of money. Kaileigh only used the swing for 2 months, and hated the saucer, jumper, bouncy seat. She hated to be contained in anything.
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else?
I sold the swing when she was about 6 months old. Everything else is stored in the shed.
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up?
Nothing, I bought everything I wanted, but could have done with out the container items like Tyla said.

Her clothes and shoes. I save them

Are there any baby gear related items that you regret purchasing/registering for? Not this time. I bought some stupid things with my first baby, but got pretty minimalistic with the next two. As far as baby gear goes, the only things I bought for Eli really were the Ergo, the Moses basket, and his Jeep stroller.
Have you sold any of your items and/or replaced them with something else? Nope. I gave the Moses basket to my sister for her newborn she's going to have soon but still use the other things.
What are some things you could have done without and what are some things you wish you would have picked up? Um....I could have done without the idiotic diaper genie I got with my first....and did do without it after I chucked the dumb thing.
Is there anything you can't part with, for whatever reason? My Ergo for sure. I use it every single day and really think it was essential for me with 3 kids!

No regrets whatsoever on purchases. We were very frugal/practical and didn't buy or register for a lot of extra stuff. Probably the one thing that someone gave us (wasn't on our registry) was one of those co sleepers that goes in the bed for newborns. We barely used that.
Things I will never part with and think they were worth every (somewhat expensive) penny: BOB Ironman (I think this was one of the best purchases EVER)!! Bob Revolution, Arms Reach Co Sleeper, Medela Breastpump, and the Ergo. I guess I should clarify...these are things I will never part with NOW, but when we are done having kids, I'm fine about letting them go.

Oh yeah. That's what I meant too. I'm not really sentimental about baby gear. It will all go after Eli doesn't use it anymore.

Oh yeah, my BOB Revolution was definitely one of my smarter purchases!
