The sleeping through the night post got my thinking after Katie said she only had to show her LO where his milk was once, do you give them milk and let it sit in their room/crib all night? If Mya doesnt finish it, I dont want her to wake up and take a few sips of nasty milk. Any I missing something?

When I give Holden milk at night, he usually finishes it right away. Some nights if he's up more than once I'll find his bottle with a couple oz of milk in it but I never give that back to him, i'd get him new milk.

I never put a bottle or sippy cup in bed with Alivia. I never have with any of my kids. They sleep really great through the night.

Omair is sleeping beside me by the time he wakes up for milk. (He starts out in his crib, then I bring him in bed with me when I go). So when he wakes I just quickly make a bottle on the nightstand. He almost never wakes again for another, however when he did I would make a fresh one. I used to have 2-3 bottles pre-filled with powder, then I'd just pour water from a cup into the bottle. Fresh everytime.

Bishop does wake up sometimes hungry, I only give him enough to satisfy his tummy. So instead of the usual 7oz he takes during the day, I only give him 4oz and it does just fine. He drinks it, and rolls over.

Rosie don't get milk at night unless nothing else will calm her down. Otherwise the earliest she will get it and stay in bed is around 445am when DH gets up for work. And then those days she will sleep till like 8am its so nice..lol But outside of that she has never gone to bed with a bottle.

Miranda sleeps the night through, so no night bottles here.

I'm with you ladies! We're still co-sleeping so that she can drink from the tap and I don't have to get up. Though I have a feeling if she were sleeping away from me, she wouldn't even wake up. I need to get a baby monitor so I can start moving her out of our bed cause she keeps kicking DH in the head and waking him up. Haha!

Claire has one last bottle (whole milk) about 8pm, and then that's it until she wakes up the next morning (usually around 7 or so). She rarely wakes or stirs in the night, and if she does it is usually because she lost her pacifier.
