If your child eats toast or pancakes or anything of the like, what do you put on them? Eva loves toast and I'll put either a little jam or vegemite for taste.
Is there a healthier option any of you use?

I put Yo baby yogurt on his little pancakes and on his toast I put a little "I can't believe it's not butter" or some jam

I'll put margerine or jam or cream cheese on her bread. I've also done hummus and tzatziki as well (she loves hummus .... still warming up to tzatziki). I'm staying away from all nut/egg related stuff. Tzatziki is awesome as a replacement on sandwiches instead of mayo. super good!

Luca mainly has vegemite and peanut butter. I consider those to be pretty healthy compared to honey and jam and stuff. I've thought about trying him (well both kids really) on hummus and stuff but I've never tried it myself so not really sure what to do with it??

I make my own fruit spreads.

I use fat free cream cheese. Let is soften, and I put it in my small food processor along with blueberries and then scoop it out put it on saran wrap, form a ball, put it in the refrigerator to form and then spread it on crackers, pancakes, waffles, and bread.

I've done blueberries and strawberries. blueberry turns out the best in consistency. Almost like butter.

I do that too Shannon!

For kenz she actually loves to eat a waffle plain. She likes to hold the entire thing and eat it like it's a sandwich Sometimes I'll put yobaby on it. my older kids love it with almond butter. and we do hummus on pitas a lot for lunch.

We use butter here. We also do peanut butter, nutella, jams, cream cheese, cheez whiz, and apple sauce. I've given her maple syrup and regular pancake syrup.

My child the foodie snubbed Mrs. Butterworth with everything but the middle finger. The maple syrup (you know the expensive and very real syrup), she's all over that one!

Normally I wouldn't do add ons, but since Ali's doc got after me about her weight (she's barely 20lbs and still fits in 6 months clothes..) I need to be adding in calories where I can. No soda in the sippy though Shannon!

We do yogurt, hummus, and peanut butter

I will let Grace have a little syrup on her pancakes but not Caleb....mainly because it's so messy.
