We are pretty much baby proofed but yesterday Bishop finally discovered the kitchen. Before then he didn't know you could open things because we don't have handles on cabinets and drawers.

Lets just say all my Tupperware, wax paper and wooden spoons made appearances several times yesterday haha. Today we will be getting locks for it all.

This is the 1st child I've had to do this with! My other two really didn't care, Gage didn't at all. Dane tested the limits but then stopped. He was more into climbing then getting into that stuff.

All chemicals and stuff are kept upstairs in the bathroom. Which they can't get into because it's gated off. But yup, he's into it all haha. I hope he doesn't figure out our 2 lazy susans soon because then I'm screwed! That's my baking stuff.

We're getting locks today! Gotta love tricky kids haha

This happens at our house DAILY too... Ive considered just emptying the dishwasher onto the kitchen floor to save me time and her the trouble of having to throw it all out of the drawers.
Whatever. she enjoys it. Its like more toys for her. So I let her. I figure its the kids dishes anyways (ours are kept up in the high cabinets)

We have dogs and our lab is currently shedding. So there is dog hair on the floor in between my 30 swiffering times a day. It grosses me out right now.

Yup, I threaten to shave Gannon several times a day, I hate swiffering because I feel like I'm at it constantly.

We already have the important stuff locked up from Elizabeth and any chemicals are in the cabinet over the sink about 8 feet up so Sarah becoming more mobile hasn't posed any difficulties yet. Yet.

Macie loves the kitchen cabinets and that was okay until last week when she discovered my lazy Susan cabinet...Ugh! That has all my spices and baking stuff. Every time I catch her in it she has my bottle of vanilla. I'll be getting a lock for it soon.

Christie, how can you lock a lazy susan? I have two and no handles on our cabinets. I have no clue how to lock them without buying a handle!

We have all the chemicals put away but as of right now nothing is baby proofed except the living room, my house is in chaos.

So far the only drawers that Alivia goes into in the kitchen are full of papers which she loves to scatter everywhere and occasionally she will get into the drawer of utensils (like plastic spoons, ladles, measuring spoons, etc., nothing sharp!). I need locks too.
