Its been so nice this summer being able to be outside with Ty all the time. We have loved taking walks, letting him play in grass, swim, go to the beach, etc, and I find myself dreading the upcoming cold rainy days ahead. I hate being stuck in the house for so many months. Hopefully we shall have a nice fall and can continue being outside a lot through October. Hard to say how the weather will go.

What are your thoughts on baby and weather? Do you look forward or dread the upcoming cold days?

I am. I've been lucky that in going back to work, we've kept our nanny on part time, and she's been able to get Maggie out for an hour or so every day of the work week for me. And then on the weekends, we've been good about keeping that up as well. So I expect that will continue and she'll get more exposure to the winter than she had last year for sure. But, I'm not fond of snowy weather activities despite being Canadian. I don't mind indoor ice rinks, but it's been a long time since I was out trying to pull a sleigh or toboggan or any of that stuff. So, I'm envisioning a long winter of being couped up too. uggh.

I am really looking forward to fall. Not really winter just yet but at least fall. We have had a horrible hot summer. It's usually not this hot here but we had 95-110* degree weather with heath indexes up to 112* for over a month straight. It was horrible.

I really am ready to watch Kaileigh experience the different seasons now that she is running and playing. I can only imagine her thoughts when she sees all the leaves falling or snow falling. I actually like winter though. I hate that they need tons of layers and socks and shoes, but I do like winter.

Where we live right now, I'm not dreading it at all, since summer is super hot and the rest of the year is beautiful. We are stuck more inside the home now (except for the pool) than we will be in the fall and winter.

I love the fall and winter here. We have had a weird summer like right now in August I had to put Aidyen in feet sleepers because of it being cold! I don't really like being out in the rain but I don love fall and winter. I hate being stuck inside the house too, so I will probably take Aidyen to one of the indoor jump house places we have or chuck e cheese, or the mall to shop! Shopping is always good and I tend to do alot of that especially in the winter
