How did it go down when you met your DH/SO?

Well, we met 2 years prior to dating but we were both in a relationship with someone else. We always flirted and wrote each other notes and love letters...ha ha but that was it. I mean, we SHOULD have just dumped our exs and got together then but we didnt. Then two years later I found out we had a mutual friend, Daniel and we began talking and dating almost immediately since we were both single, Aug 31 will be 10 years together So really, no one pursued it more then the other we just ended up where we belonged after our great friend daniel brought us together so it was mutual

Well DH pursued me. We were introduced to each other by a mutual friend, but I was playing hard to get (i guess). He even made a comment that he must really like me because I was DIFFICULT as h e l l to reel in! LMAO

DH was the one who found me again after I pretty much shot him down 6 months earlier.....and even then there were a couple times I remember telling him "I don't make the first move"

We met at a town dance in this tiny little town outside of Fresno. My mom moved us down there when I was 16 and my hubby saw me earlier that day at the part of the dance where you sit and eat with everyone. Later that night I came back and he asked me to dance. I was immediately in love with him. He asked me out the next day and we have been together ever since. We met in September 1998 got married in January 1999 and had Raven in September 1999! This January will be 13 years...pretty good since everyone said we would never last because we were too young. I was 16 almost 17 and he was 20. When love is involved and something is meant to be age and everything else goes out the window.

I did! I saw him at CVS with a puerto rican shirt and had to talk to him. So I went up to him and said so i see you are puerto rican. so am I! haha! the rest is history!

I selected "I pursued DH" but it was really closer to "We were both interested right away". He had a girlfriend the first night we met though, so he was holding back until he called her the next morning and broke up with her! But I was the one who introduced myself and conveniently made sure he had to drive me home.

DH definitely pursued me. He pretty much harrassed me until I gave in and went out with him. I had a nasty head cold on our first date, and he still said I was beautiful.....

The first time DH and I talked he mentioned that he had "no desire to ever marry again" and in like 2 days that was all thrown out the window

So it was definitely a mutual thing, we both weren't looking, it just happened.

I was not looking when we met. I was messed up trying to figure out my marriage (yes I was still technically married) and what I was going to do with my, all of a sudden out of my control life. We met and were instant friends, he stood by my side as my then dh and I split, and we have been together ever since. We were both interested, but I was not pursing and he was letting me fix my life. That was 17 years ago now.

I pursued him. I actually asked him to marry me lol~~he jumped all over it but I was definitely the aggressor!
