That's the biggest earthquake I have ever felt. The house shook and it was noisy (rumbling). The pans were clinking and the cats ran off. But other than that nothing happened thank goodness. Anybody else feel it?

I didn't, but every time an earthquake hits MI it never seems to hit up by where I'm at.

iam in Fredericksburg where is just about hit, It was horrible.

SO & I were laying in bed lol ugh yea and just finished so I was still laying there and all of a sudden the mirrors on our wall started shift it was SUPER loud and I jumped up screaming a plane is about to his our house. I ran to the kids and everything was falling off my walls, drawers were flying open stuff off the counter and fridge were on the floor. We ran outside where it finished. It lasted about a min here and im about 15 mins from where it started. I have never delt with something like that and was scared to death. Im just waiting for the after shocks

You got more of the quake than we did. I hope nothing else happened and glad you and your babies are ok.

Glad everyone is okay. I'm in Toronto Canada and didn't feel a thing, even though some people said that they did. It was actually funny, cause a co-worker sent out an e-mail saying that an earthquake just hit and to please walk around the office and see if any ceiling tiles had fallen off. I was like...what??
Last year I remember sitting at home watching tv when a quake hit in Quebec and we could feel our couch move. It was the strangest feeling.

I didn't feel it in Connecticut but apparently some people did. Glad you all are okay! Now onto this hurricane crap
