LOL. That's how I felt about DD#1 when she got her first tooth just before her 1st Birthday. My MIL used to scare me and say that her daughter's first tooth came in when she was 2. Not sure if I believe her.
Way to go Brendan!!!! Soon you'll be taking little bites out of mommy.

I know, right? I will be regretting these teeth once he starts biting, but at least now I don't feel like a failure as a mom because my kid doesn't have any teeth

Actually, the later they get teeth, the less likely it is for them to get tooth decay and such from drinking milk at night, etc. So, it's good to get them later.

Very good point
However you know how it goes- even though you know deep down that your kid is perfectly normal, the more comments you get the less assured you feel that everything is "ok".

I hear ya! Today at his doc appt he was 75th percentile for height and 60th for weight. He's a perfectly normal size one year old, still in 12 month clothes etc. We took him to dinner tonight and the host/owner dude was commenting on how big he was for his age. I almost quoted his stats from earlier in the day, but I held my tongue.
And Liam is perfectly adorable and NORMAL!!!
