What solution do you use for the wipes?

And what solution do you use to put them in until wash day?

Because of Kaileigh being sick and now having a rash Im using only cloth wipes. I found a solution online that used baby oil, mild soap and water, and so far it's been awesome. I have a container with a lid next to my wipe container that has water/vinegar mixture for them to soak in until wash day.

Am I doing it right? Any other tips for using cloth wipes??

Also I found a cute pattern online for making my own cloth diapers and Im going to attempt it as soon as I am well. My only problem is finding pull here. I know my hobby lobby doesnt sell it but Im hoping jo-anns does. I do have a michaels about 40 minutes from here so I could always go there and see, or send dh after he gets off work since he works in that city..LOL

I use Burts Bee soap a few drops of tea tree oil, few drops of lavender oil and warm water. I put my wipes in a wipe container and pour the solution over it...works great.

I actually only use warm water. I keep the wipes dry and stacked in his room until needed, then I just get them wet with warm water. Thats it for me.

I keep my wipes dry until use as well. It's either plain water or water mixed with baby oil and baby wash.

Good luck with the diapers! We're using mommy-made pocket diapers over here but not made with PUL Have you thought of shopping online, eg:

PUL Fabric for Cloth Diapers

We just use plain water too. My daughter had super sensitive skin so we leave them plain for Max as well.

Thanks ladies...I am actually really liking them. I was hesitant at first but since I NEED to use them for her rash Im a full lover now and will probably not use disposable other then when we are out in public. I still use sposies for night and out in public though.

I use either CJ's Carcass cleaner or the little drops....but one of those made Sophie break out, so I've just been using California Baby Diaper Spray with dry wipes, which I think I like the best overall.
