i won't be surprised i left to get an mri (my wrist is all kinds of messed up) and she was taking her nap when zach got home. she woke up while i was gone and he fed her lunch and then sat down while she was eating to do work, got on a biz call and just forgot to change her. i came back an hour later and she walked up to me, pointed to her diaper, said "diaper" which sounds more like "dieduh" so asked her if she had poo poo in her diaper and she shook her head yes. i asked her if she needed a new diaper and she shook her head yes and went into my room (where we change her since her room is upstairs) and laid down in the right spot. this isn't the first time she's done it but it is the first time she TOLD me she needed a new diaper and she was right, she poopood!

yay! Way to go Kenna!!

We will start preparing to PT about 16-18months. Kai is already showing some signs too but not enough to focus on it yet. Kaitlyn was extremely easy to PT so Im hoping Kaileigh is too.

What did they say about your arm???

That's awesome! I can hardly imagine a day when diapers are actually history. I honestly think I may miss this too. I know - I'm sick in the head. I so have to start reading up on what to look for with this stuff. I feel like such a newbie again.

She's only just started to come over to get her diaper changed when asked. And she's only just starting to shift around and look uncomfortable when she's messed herself. I'm guessing she won't be the easiest kid to potty train, but I have no idea what to look for or what to do either. Watch me make it ten times harder on myself.

^^Hopefully it is NOT true for me. LOL!

WTG Kenna! That's crazy. Eli still acts like I'm trying to murder him half the time I'm changing him.

Oh wow! That's awesome! and boys are hard to potty train! We started at 2 with Raven and he wouldn't potty train until 3 1/2 I am hoping that Aidyen doesn't follow in his brother's footsteps

i never full on potty trained R and S. I was too sick and pregnant and then had a newborn and just didn't want to deal with it with Riley. I never stressed it ever and he finally did it on his own just before he turned 3. Sierra potty trained herself at 20 months it was fantastic i did introduce the potty around 18 months. i'm kind of tempted to go get one now!

So cool!!!! Way to go Kenna! That's really amazing.

I'm sure that I will also be in the "other" group...still moaning about it at age 3+.

Wow!! That's impressive!

We're working on Kaila now and she's almost 3. She is stubborn as a mule and will give up any reward we offer her to just be left the heck alone. Usually she'll pee pee on the pot about 2-3 times a day after a lot of prompting. Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. I can't say we had good luck with Keira either. I think she was at least 3...

I am hoping boys are easy. Kellen will whine when his diaper is soggy. I'll tell him to go lay down so I can change him and he'll run to the living room and lay right down. I'm hoping that's a good sign!

Thats fantastic!

Sometimes I pop Hunter on the potty when we take his diaper off for bath. He sees London go potty before bath so we do it with him. He has peed once, but it was likely fluke. He likes sitting on it like a big boy. LOL
Changing his diaper is still a ring match though! He won't lay still for anything anymore!!!
